Your Friday Fix Ep 29: Shoulder Stability Series – Kettlebell Hold

This week on Your Friday Fix begins shoulder stability.

Shoulder stability is important to maintain control with kipping movements, quick and/or heavy olympic lifts or presses, and when any quick reaction is required, such as if you have to grab your child quickly with one arm to keep from running into the street.

If the shoulder does not have proper stability, other muscles are overworked, the joint becomes unstable under fatigue, and pain and/or injury occur.

Try out this exercise to start stabilizing the shoulder complex.
